The specialist was not prepared for the lesson. During the lesson, he tried to figure out the problems (unsuccessfully). He mentioned that he had a lot of orders and didn't have time to review the material in advance. As a result, he couldn't solve the problems or explain the topic. He might be knowledgeable in other areas, but he couldn't help with probability theory.
